2011 New York and Sanghai Auto Show: Mercedes Benz A Class

Mercedes-Benz is going to introduce the A Class concept in the New York and Sanghai Auto Show. It will come with 2.0 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 210 horsepower. It comes with a dual clutch transmission and a radar-based collision warning system with adaptive Brake Assist. This is looking one eye-catching look with the addition of designed wheels and special effect. Power travels through a dual-clutch transmission to the front wheels. The Mercedes A Class model is a stylized version of the upcoming 2012 A-Class. The lighting of this Mercedes A-Class is designed with very awesome manner with innovative full-LED high-performance headlamps repeat the starry sky motif with numerous lighting points.

2012 Mercedes C63

The C63 Mercedes keeps one awesome look with the containing of too many advanced features. It comes with 6.2 liter V-8 engine with 451hp. Its speed limiter is from 155 to 174 mph. The new lights and visual adjustments make a mean-looking car look a bit more sinister. The standard car will wear a new, twin-five-spoke 18-inch wheel design.

Small Car plan of Mercedes for Indian market

Undoubtedly, small cars are becoming popular day to day.

According to a senior executive of Mercedes Benz, the global auto giant Mercedes is planning to develop small cars for Indian market. According to Jarosch, this car development requires huge investment nearly 1 billion Euro.

According to carblogindia.com, in an recent interview, Mercedes Benz India Managing Director & CEO Peter Honegg said “Though our company doesn’t currently sell anything below the C-class sedan, priced at Rs 28.44 lakh, we will definitely look at the compact car market” He added, “We are thinking in that direction. Definitely, (the Smart) is a very interesting product. The compact car segment is very competitive. It’s far below all our Mercedes models, and is a segment we haven’t touched, but which most of the competitors are very serious about in India,”

The company’s R&D center at Bangalore is likely to work for that small car project.

The small car which is under project to come to the market is expected to come with a price of Rs. 4-8 lakh.

Mercedes to unveil new Formula One car in February

Mercedes will launch its Formula One car on the coming Feb 1^st, Tuesday. This is named as W02 and will be launched from Valencia next month.

With the launch of this new model Mercedes it is going to compete with Ferrari. This model will be revealed to the public by drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg
